Polythene impact on environment
The main problem with plastic is that it doesn't bio - degradable, which means natural processes cannot, or take very long time to break it down in the environment. Durability - which is a favourable property of plastic actually make it an environmental issue, once disposed. Another problem is the Overconsumption/over use by humans in variety of applications. Irresponsible and inappropriate disposal makes the problem even messier. And the greatest danger is the uncontrolled burning of certain plastics (especially the ones that contain halogens) releasing toxic chemicals harmful to humans and animals.
Recycling polythene has been a key part of our business since the inception of the company. Since the polythene industry has been known for its environmental impact, we cannot but stress the importance that Polythene is a necessary evil in the environment as there is no substitute to plastics at this point in time.
As a responsible Manufacturer we have been transforming our company into an eco-friendly outfit. One of the key success factors on this area is our plastic re-cycle plant and CSR initiatives that have been undertaken by the company. Today we are the undisputed leader in the collection & manufacture of re-cycle plastic materials in the country.
We have built networks and infrastructure that transforms plastics waste that would otherwise clog up a waterway, polute the ocean or make and average street untidy.

Why it’s important to recycle ?
Conserves
|
Saves EnergyUsing recycled materials in the manufacturing process uses considerably less energy than that required for producing new products from raw materials.
|
Protect the EnvironmentRecycling reduces the need for extracting (mining, quarrying and logging), refining and processing raw materials all of which create substantial air and water pollution. As recycling saves energy, it also reduces greenhouse gas emissions, which helps to tackle climate.
